Event Details

Temple Beth Chayim Chadashim's Annual Humanitarian Awards Brunch will be held on May 22 at the beautiful Loews Santa Monica Hotel!

The Champagne Reception & Silent Auction begin at 10:30 a.m., followed by the program & brunch at noon.  Please join us!

This is BCC’s primary fundraiser of the year.  Monies raised are crucial to sustaining our synagogue’s vibrancy and to allowing us to continue our work in the Jewish and LGBT communities.

We have a wide range of sponsorships available for the event, as well as the opportunity to purchase individual tickets.  Please choose from among the options listed above.

In addition to attending the event, please consider honoring our awardees by placing a tribute in our Tribute Journal.  Tribute sizes range from a quarter-page to a full-page.  Please see the options listed above.

Our Humanitarian Award honorees this year are BCC members Diane Goodman and Nicolasa Nevarez, long-time life partners.  Diane, an attorney, and Nicolasa, an elementary school teacher, have been active in politics and have worked tirelessly for the betterment of the LGBT community.

The BCC Presidents Award is being given to BCC member Ira Dankberg, a professional architect, who volunteered to be the project manager for the renovation of our new building.  In this capacity, Ira has spent countless hours working with the architect, construction manager, and BCC's Building Committee.  The result is an extraordinarily beautiful new space.

If you have any questions about the event, please contact BCC's Executive Director, Felicia Park-Rogers, at 323-931-7023, ext. 203, or send her an e-mail.
